CHEESES

Stilton – From Leicestershire in England, this farmhouse cheese is made with cows milk. The flavours are sweet and savoury which combine well with the distinct but mild blue mould finish.

Pont l’ eveque – Developed by the Norman monks in the 11th century. This washed rind cheese has a strong distinct smell, soft and creamy interior and a slightly bitter finish.

Sao Miguel – From the Island of Sao Miguel discovered by the Portuguese in the 14th century. This hard cow’s milk cheese is matured for one year, it has a crumbly texture and a sweet sharp finish.

All cheeses are served with crackers, fruit and quince paste
